Melissa McIntosh, the 2014 Miss Nebraska (America’s National Teenager Scholarship Organization), visited St. Paul Lutheran School in West Point last week.
McIntosh, a junior at Concordia College in Seward and member of the women’s golf team, won the title of Miss Nebraska ANTSO National Miss in November and will retain her crown for a year.
While at St. Paul School, McIntosh read to students in each class. That was followed up by her talking with students and fielding a variety of their questions.
The Lincoln native also delivered a message to the kids about having the courage to pursue their dreams, no matter what they may be.
