Alexandra Linder is among more than 800 4-H young people who will attend the National 4-H Club Congress, in Atlanta, Ga., Nov. 29-Dec. 3.
National 4-H Club Congress activities feature a mix of educational, service and recreational opportunities.
The theme for the 92nd National Club Congress is “Passport to Excellence. Each day the program will focus on learning, capturing the culture, first class service and returning with results.
The young people that attend Congresses have demonstrated leadership potential and a desire to improve his or her community and world.
Participants are selected based on their record books in a specific project area and related achievements. Delegates had to pass a county, district and state selection process to become a delegate for Club Congress.
Linder was selected in the Citizenship and Leadership curriculum area.
Linder is a sophomore at West Point-Beemer High School, and is the daughter of Sean and Mindi Linder of Oakland.
She has been an active member of the Clever Clovers 4-H Club for seven years.
